Anne Shea Gaza represents local, national and international clients in Delaware’s state and federal courts, as well as before various state administrative agencies. A counsel in the firm’s Litigation Department, her practice focuses on intellectual property and other complex commercial litigation. Anne has represented, and is representing, a number of parties in significant patent and trademark litigation before the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. In addition, Anne has an active ADR practice and serves as a neutral arbitrator through the American Arbitration Association.
Anne is a frequent speaker with federal and state court judges and local practitioners on topics ranging from federal practice and procedure to corporate document retention and destruction methodologies in the context of litigation. She was a contributor to Foreclosure Law & Related Remedies - a State by State Digest, published by the American Bar Association, and to the State Capital Law Firm Group's Lobbying, PACs and Campaign Finance: 50 State Handbook.
Earlier in her career, Anne was a captain in the United States Air Force as an assistant staff judge advocate and was cross-designated as a Special Assistant United States Attorney. While in law school, she served on the Journal of Law & Commerce.
